Safety Is Our First Priority.

Clune considers Safety a primary component in the planning process where each project site and the work to be performed are evaluated. That way safety issues can be addressed long before any work begins. We've also made safety the cornerstone of our everyday work ethic. We consider it an on-going, on-site, real-time process based on four major components:

  • Accountability – where everybody is required to be safety conscious, including Project Managers, Superintendents and Subcontractors
  • Checks and Balances – where we contract outside, dedicated consultants to walk and evaluate each site and report their findings to Clune management
  • Visibility and Training – which requires each superintendent to take an OSHA Construction Course focused on specific operations
  • Educating – with updated safety manuals based on more than just the "must haves" – including real-world construction practices that go beyond what is "expected" or commonly considered "the norm"
