Program Overview
Interns are provided with the opportunity to work with a team through all phases of a construction project. Practical experience gained from Clune’s Internship Program may supplement education from your university.
Intern responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
OFFICE
- Review and process shop drawings
- Review and process RFIs
- Assist in budget preparation
- Coordinate and issue information to subcontractors
- Communicate with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors
- attend coordination meetings
- Perform quantity take-offs
- Maintain project logs
- Become familiar in reading drawings, specs and contract documents
- Assist with project close-outs
FIELD
- Attend various coordination meetings
- Document and maintain field records
- Assist in punchlist completion
- Implement site logistics
- Coordinate and issue information to subcontractors
- Understand and coordinate base building rules and regulations
- Understand and monitor Quality Control (QA/QC)
- Provide photos for documentation and weekly updates
- Maintain project drawing sets
- Become familiar in reading drawings, specs and contract documents
Compensation & Benefits
Clune offers competitive pay to interns of all experience levels.
