Los Angeles, CA – June 19, 2019 – In keeping with its culture of promoting from within, Clune Construction (Clune) is proud to announce five talented professionals in its Los Angeles office have been promoted to executive-level positions.
Peter Bahruth, Adam Beck, Neil Kubon, Nhan Nguyen and Ben Segrest received promotions in recognition of their significant contributions to Clune and the important role they will play in the company’s future growth.
“Clune has been fortunate to continue to grow with a staff that has remained committed for the long term,” said Bill Abromitis, CEO of Clune Construction. “These individuals represent a group of Clune leadership that continue to make our company stronger for our clients and our employees.”
Peter Bahruth has been promoted to Executive Managing Director. He started as an intern for Clune, and throughout his tenure has supervised over 3 million square feet of projects. Peter has risen through the ranks and is a co-leader of the West Region. In addition, he is Clune’s Executive Safety Director – overseeing all safety programs for Clune nationally. Peter is also a member of the Executive Committee.
Adam Beck was promoted to Senior Vice President, General Superintendent in Los Angeles -overseeing all field operations for the Los Angeles office. With over 22 years of experience, Adam started as a laborer in the industry and advanced within a year to a Superintendent. Adam has directly managed the field activities of over 1 million square feet throughout his tenure with Clune.
Neil Kubon was promoted to Vice President, Senior Superintendent. He has 36 years of experience in the construction industry and assists in overseeing the field operations in the Southern California area.
Nhan Nguyen was named Vice President, Project Exectutive. With 21 years in the construction industry, he has the overall responsibility and accountability for the project, and is directly responsible for the relationship with the client and various project team members.
Ben Segrest has been promoted to Vice President, Western Region Controller overseeing financials for all west coast projects. He has been in the construction industry in an accounting capacity for 20 years. Ben has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama and a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
“Each of these individuals have proven that they are strong leaders, and critical members of our senior management team here in Los Angeles and nationally as well,” said Bob Dahlstrom, Clune’s Executive Managing Director, and President of the Western Region. “We all appreciate their success and their integrity in which they conduct our business, and we look forward to them continuing with even more growth in their careers here at Clune Construction.”
Clune is proud of its culture of promoting from within. Several Managing Directors and Officers started with the company as interns and the average length of time a Managing Director has been with the firm is 17 years. Additionally, 20 percent of Clune’s employees have been with the company for more than 10 years. This culture has also contributed to Clune’s consistent placement nationally in numerous “Best Places to Work” rankings.
