CLUNE ANNOUNCES 11 PROMOTIONS IN CHICAGO

Chicago, IL – June 19, 2019 – In keeping with its culture of promoting from within, Clune Construction (Clune) is proud to announce 11 of its talented professionals in its Chicago office have been promoted to executive-level positions.

John Amos, Jim Bardoczi, Craig Erdenberger, Chris Franz, Andrew Hoppe, Steve Green, Rachel Munkvold, Dino Pastore, Mary Shea, Jeremy Stanek, and Luke Unverzagt received promotions in recognition of their significant contributions to Clune and the important role they play in the company’s future growth.

“Clune has been fortunate to continue to grow with a staff that has remained committed for the long term,” said Bill Abromitis, CEO of Clune Construction. “These individuals represent a group of Clune leadership that continues to make our company stronger for our clients and our employees.”

Chris Franz was named Senior Vice President, Senior Superintendent. He oversees the field employees for Clune’s Mission Critical Projects. Chris has 18 years of experience in the construction industry, 12 of which have been at Clune, and he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois.

Andrew Hoppe was promoted to Senior Vice President, Project Executive. He has been in the construction industry for 15 years, 13 of which have been at Clune. He has lead projects for many high-profile clients both locally and nationally. Andrew has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri.

Dino Pastore was promoted to Senior Vice President, Senior Superintendent. He has 21 years of construction experience, and oversees the field employees for many of Clune’s Mission Critical projects in the Chicago area.

Jeremy Stanek has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Project Executive. In his role he is directly responsible for the relationship with the client and all the various project consultants. He has 16 years of experience in the construction industry, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Purdue University.

John Amos was promoted to Vice President. He has 13 years of experience in the construction industry specializing in corporate interior build-outs. John has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Western Illinois University.

Jim Bardoczi was named Vice President, Senior Superintendent. He is responsible for keeping the on-site functions of a project moving smoothly. Jim has been in the construction industry for 21 years, and he has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from Ball State University

Craig Erdenberger was promoted to Vice President, Senior Project Manager. He has played a large role in many of Clune’s corporate interior buildouts, as well as airport and hospitality projects. Craig has 12 years of construction experience.

 

Steve Green was promoted to Vice President, Corporate Systems. He manages Clune’s ERP system as well the implementation of new software and the maintenance of existing software. Steve has worked in the construction industry in an accounting capacity for 20 years, and he has his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Rachel Munkvold has been promoted to Vice President, Senior Project Manager. She has 20 years of construction experience, and has managed several high-end commercial build-outs.  Rachel has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois.

Mary Shea has been named Vice President, Senior Superintendent. She has served as a superintendent on multiple projects of more than 100,000-square-feet for many high-end Chicago clients. She has 37 years of construction experience, which includes her work as a Union Carpenter.

Luke Unverzagt was promoted to Vice President, Senior Project Manager. He has 14 years of experience in the construction industry and at Clune, managing many high-profile interior build-outs with infrastructure upgrades. Luke earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Illinois State University.

“All of these individuals have consistently approached everything they do for Clune with the integrity and commitment needed to deliver the best results for our clients,” says Dave Hall, Clune’s Executive Managing Director and President of the Midwest Region. “It has been a privilege to work along-side them and I congratulate them on their well-deserved promotions.”

Clune is proud of its culture of promoting from within. Several Managing Directors and Officers started with the company as interns and the average length of time a Managing Director has been with the firm is 17 years. Additionally, 20 percent of Clune’s employees have been with the company for more than 10 years. This culture has also contributed to Clune’s consistent placement nationally in numerous “Best Places to Work” rankings.
