Our core values
Safety
At Clune, safety is more than a priority – it’s a core value ingrained in every step of our process. Our dedicated Safety Team develops project-specific safety plans from the very first kickoff meeting, addressing potential issues long before work begins. We take every measure to ensure that everyone on-site returns home safely, reflecting our unwavering commitment to excellence and care.
Service
Sharing appreciation and recognition for our staff emboldens employees at all levels to bring new, creative ideas to the table that provide positive social value. Our internal teams continually look for ways to improve our environmental impact, ethical approach and personal relationships.
Environment: Recognizing the urgency of environmental sustainability, Clune is committed to making choices that reduce our impact, both on jobsites and in our offices, and has assessed our Scope 1-3 impacts with a view to developing SBTis be the end of 2025. Our structured approach emphasizes commitment, operational support, communication, evaluation and continuous improvement. Through collaboration with third-party experts, we are working to monitor and elevate our environmental performance across all aspects of our business.
People-Centric: Clune’s strength lies in the diverse experiences, perspectives and cultures that make up our team. We strive to foster understanding and inclusion in everything we do, prioritizing initiatives in workplace engagement, learning and development and community outreach and support. By integrating these into our daily work, we build a stronger and more inclusive future.
Ethics: At Clune, ethical conduct is a standard that guides every action. We are steadfast in our commitment to maintaining the highest levels of integrity and corporate responsibility, creating a culture where ethical practices are recognized and celebrated by all employees.

Teamwork
At Clune, teamwork is the foundation of every successful project. We work with architects, project managers, trade partners, clients and stakeholders to bring each project to life. Our culture of co-leadership and cross-departmental collaboration, spanning every regional office, fosters an environment where diverse perspectives thrive.

Excellence
For over 20 years, Clune Construction has earned recognition for both project achievements and company-wide excellence, including accolades such as US Best Managed Companies, Best Places to Work and Newsweek’s Most Loved Workplaces. These honors reflect our unwavering commitment to excellence at every level – proof that our corporate values are not just principles but a way of life embraced by our employees. Each award reinforces that, together, we are continuously striving toward the highest standards in everything we do.

Innovation
At Clune, we believe in continuous evolution and innovation, not just in the tools we use but in the way we think and run our business. We invest in our people to stay current on new trends, to build their skills and honestly assess themselves and improve. It is a mindset. We think about the future and how we can make it better for our clients, our teams and our clients. In addition to individual growth and improvement, we also think about the future of construction. We have an in-house virtual construction group dedicated to reality capture and applying Building Information Modeling (BIM). We utilize Virtual Construction to elevate our field verifications, strive to make information easier to read, and keep information readily available for all project members to use. It also allows Clune’s team members to weed out unknown issues with existing conditions, produce final build visualizations for the owner, and increase open collaboration with all project stakeholders.
