In founding Clune Construction, it was my dream to build an environment that fosters and rewards everyone’s achievements and pride in all aspects of the company’s efforts. I felt that if the company could focus its attention on creating a unique bond with every employee-owner, they would create a positive client relationship based on our core values at every level in the company. I’m very proud of what we have accomplished together and I am excited to see what’s next.
Mike Clune – Founder, Chairman
When it comes to safety on our construction job sites, Clune Construction takes every measure and precaution possible to ensure that everyone goes home at the end of the day exactly as they arrived. From each project’s kickoff meeting, our dedicated Safety Team immediately develops a safety plan. This ensures safety issues are addressed long before work even begins.
Learn MoreWe embolden employees at all levels to bring new, creative ideas to the table that provide positive social value. Our internal teams continually look for ways to improve our environmental, ethical and philanthropic approaches.
Environment: We believe that environmental sustainability is more important than ever and that we can influence our impact through our operational choices. We strive to make a difference not just on our jobsites but also in our offices and have structured our approach to environmental responsibility to address: commitment, support/operations, communication, evaluation, and improvement.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: We are fortunate to be composed of team members representing a variety of experiences, views, backgrounds, cultures and beliefs. We believe we have a responsibility to instill DEI into our everyday tasks and have prioritized the endeavor, with a focus on communication, learning & development, recruiting/performance management, and supplier/subcontractor engagement.
Ethics: We maintain a culture where ethical conduct is recognized, valued, and exemplified by all employees. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of business ethics and corporate conduct.
At Clune, we foster a culture that promotes giving back to the communities where we live and work. In addition to the generous contributions made to causes by the company, a large percentage of our employees are actively involved in a variety of charities nationwide.
Each year, Clune donates a portion of our profits to more than 100 charitable organizations, including an annual contribution to Gateway for Cancer Research.
“Your gift will help impact lives and provide new treatment possibilities for cancer patients everywhere.
Gateway’s success is directly linked to the passion and generosity of donors like Clune, and we are so very grateful for your support and commitment to our mission to end cancer as we know it.”
Throughout the past 20 years, Clune Construction has been a recipient of countless awards, ranging from project-specific accolades to company-wide awards. This includes the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics, and being repeatedly named one of the Best Places to Work. Each time we receive these awards and accolades, we feel a special sense of pride because they prove that our corporate values are ingrained in everything we do, and that our employees are living the Clune Way, every day.
