3D Coordination
3D Coordination integrates architectural, structural, and MEP/FP systems into a single, federated 3D model to proactively identify and resolve conflicts before construction begins. By utilizing digital modeling alongside traditional 2D documentation, project teams gain a comprehensive understanding of building systems, enabling improved visualization, reduced risk, and greater installation accuracy in the field. This coordinated approach enhances overall constructability, minimizes schedule impacts by addressing design conflicts early, and strengthens collaboration among all project stakeholders. It also supports precise prefabrication efforts and provides a reliable method for detecting potential system interactions or clashes, ultimately contributing to a more efficient and predictable construction process.
Virtual Construction
A View of What Is – and What Will Be
Clune utilizes Virtual Construction to enhance accuracy, collaboration, and informed decision‑making throughout the entire project lifecycle. Through BIM, high‑precision 3D laser scanning, and in‑house drone pilots equipped with high‑resolution imaging, we capture detailed existing conditions and develop a virtual representation of the future built environment. This enables teams to detect issues early, simulate construction phases, and clearly understand project outcomes long before work begins.
Clients benefit from the ability to virtually explore their space in advance, review photorealistic walkthroughs, and receive immersive, model‑based project updates. We also integrate AR/VR tools to overlay digital models onto real‑world environments, bringing design intent to life within the actual space and strengthening coordination across all project stakeholders.

Clune integrates sustainable practices at every stage of construction, evaluating material selections, conducting constructability reviews, developing responsible sourcing strategies and implementing plans for activity pollution prevention, waste management and indoor air quality to minimize environmental impact while maintaining the highest standards of performance and quality resulting in LEED-certification for over 100 projects across Platinum, Gold, Silver and certified levels.
