CyrusOne has marked a construction milestone at its new campus in Bosque County, Texas with the topping out of the first data center building.
Residents have been offered access to technical training through Texas State Technical College and its TSTC MEI Data
Center Pathway Program, which provides funded training for people seeking employment in the data center sector.
According to the organizers, construction of the data center facility has involved more than 650 skilled tradespeople and over 450,000 working hours without a lost time incident.
Speakers at the ceremony included CyrusOne representatives John Hatem, Tyler Stevenson and Rory Cliett, alongside Mayor Neelley and Ronny Liardon.
Construction partners and energy companies involved in the project were also present, including Clune Construction, Calpine and Constellation Energy.
