Construction management services for a 226,000-square-foot, 36 MW building on a 19-acre campus. Sitework included a new volume control basin with overflow to a nearby lake, a new entrance drive, modifications to the road median to add a left turn lane and existing intersection traffic lights, an eight-foot perimeter security fence with automatic gates at the drive entrance, simple landscaping and an augured bore of the sanitary line under a portion of the nearby lake.

The building consists of three main areas: a 34,000-square-foot front of house area, a 192,000-square-foot data vault area and a 78,000-square-foot generator yard. The front of house included a main entrance along with a security room, customer areas, offices, restrooms, shipping/receiving and MDF rooms. The data vault included three 6 MW data vaults per floor, as well as the associated mechanical galleries on either side of the vault. The generator yard houses twenty-five 3.25 MW generators and power modules.

The mechanical cooling for the data vault is from air-cooled chillers located on steel dunnage above the roof serving fan arrays located in two mechanical galleries adjacent to the vault. The data vault electrical design uses a distributed redundant system in 2 MW power blocks.
