USC Shoah Foundation – Institute for Visual History and Education

Demolition and build-out of the Foundation’s new office, academic and exhibition space. The space consists of open plan work and study areas, presentation and meeting spaces, showcasing a folded, diagrid acoustic ceiling treatment and moveable walls that allow the kitchen, conference room and instructional space to open up into a large Town Hall. The space also features a high-tech experience center for its audio-visual archives, as well as VR interview and editing rooms. The Foundation was founded by Steven Spielberg to preserve the stories of survivors and witnesses of the Holocaust and other genocides through its archive of audio-visual testimonies.
